The reverse of the coin captures a key scene from Blood of Elves, where Geralt and Triss escort Ciri from Kaer Morhen to the Duchy of Ellander. Along the way, they encounter a dwarven caravan. Ciri is accompanied by Yarpen Zigrin, a loyal, tough, and humorously spirited dwarf warrior. They sit together on a wagon amidst the caravan, traveling through the wilds of the Continent on their way to Ellander. Every detail of this composition has been crafted with extraordinary care. The meticulously sculpted figure of Ciri portrays a young girl unaware of the immense power she carries within. Meanwhile, Yarpen Zigrin, with his rugged, experienced face and dwarven pride, attentively surveys the surroundings – even a caravan journey offers no guarantee of safety in this world. The background reveals the wagon’s canvas-covered structure, its wheels seemingly creaking under the load, while the harsh and unforgiving landscape sketches the raw essence of a world where only the strongest survive. The reverse is surrounded by intricate decorations reminiscent of Mahakam blacksmith craftsmanship. At the top of the coin appears the title of the novel, Blood of Elves, capturing the spirit of this tale of war, magic, and the fight to find one’s place in the world. The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of the Republic of Cameroon, the issuing country, centered within a stunning ornamental design depicting roses.
