Minted on a Silver Eagle Coin of the the United States, it contains one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and features a beautifully colored, stained-glass–style depiction of Padre Pio—known in English as Saint Pio of Pietralcina.
On the obverse, the coin portrays Padre Pio with a serene yet powerful expression, surrounded by radiant shades of red, orange, and gold that resemble stained glass. The design captures the warmth of divine light and spiritual devotion, reflecting his life of faith, sacrifice, and miracles. The inscriptions include “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the year 2026.
The reverse shows the interior of a church illuminated by sunlight filtering through stunning stained-glass windows—symbolizing faith, hope, and the divine presence within sacred spaces. The legends read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ONE DOLLAR,” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER.”
