The first issue of the new STAR WARS - Mandalorian™ - Classic Series is dedicated to the protagonist of the 2019 production - The Mandalorian™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality. The motive depicts the fearless Mandalorian warrior in his Beskar armor as well as a Jawas Scavenger in his hooded robe. The inscription "1 oz 9999 Fine Gold" and the copyright are also included in the design. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "NIUE," "250 DOLLARS" and "2021." The Mandalorian™, whose real name is actually Din Djarin™, is also called "Mando". Five years after the fall of the Empire, he makes his living as a bounty hunter. When he is assigned to track down a fifty-year-old for one of his shady clients, it later turns out that he is of the same species as former Jedi Master Yoda™ and named Grogu™.
