Wonderfully designed by a star designer and embossed in the finest silver in the world.
The Continents is the name of the latest silver coin series from Le Grand Mint's own Wonderful World collection. Impressed and humbled by the continents, the Dortmund numismatics producer first presents the Eurasian subcontinent of Europe together with its highest elevation. As on all continents, plate tectonics has created gigantic mountain massifs and volcanoes, they stand as a symbol for the elemental forces of the continents, all of which are still in motion and change.
The idea of "The Continents" from Le Grand Mint was artistically implemented by the Slovak coin designer Miroslav Hric. The award-winning artist has already designed many popular collector's items that are known far beyond the borders of small Slovakia throughout Europe and worldwide on all continents are highly coveted by numismatists and investors.
On the elegant front, designed in the clear naturalistic Wunderbare Welt design, the contour of the continent of Europe is enthroned above Mont Blanc, which towers 4808 meters into the sky. Both core objects are lovingly worked out in the 999.9 fine silver embossing. The whole thing for the first time in an elaborate high-relief design in order to do justice to the epochal theme of "The Continents" with its highest mountains in all its opulence in terms of production technology.
The newest coinage of the silver coin collection "The Wonderful World" will soon be produced in the usual high quality from 999.9 fine silver and published in a limited edition.
